We enjoyed seeing the progress on our home. We looked forward to getting off work and going to the job site to see the daily progress. The constant updates and communication with John Sr. really made the process easier and made us feel more involved in building our home. John was always there during the whole process. He’s not the type to sit around and watch people work, in fact it was the complete opposite. I saw John Sr. on the job, up on the roof, down on the floor adjusting flooring, installing the doors, adjusting lights, re wiring new lights for me when we asked. This guy is really hands on!
We feel the overall quality and craftsmanship is top notch. It exceeded our expectations in many ways. We have received nothing but excellent comments from friends and family. Throughout the building process it was a pleasure working with John and his crew. They addressed our needs and fulfilled our wishes. They welcomed our ideas and our eagerness to be more involved with the building process than the average homeowner. John SR. showed much patient with us and was . more than willing to meet with us anytime. We felt he went above and beyond what we would expect from a builder.
John is also cost conscious and worked hard to keep us within our budget. Our experience went very smoothly with no major hang-ups. We are very pleased with our new home and when we decide to build again, JWB and Lockridge will be our first choice. We look forward to it.

Prior to building our home we heard of how it can be a nightmare. We can honestly say it was a very enjoyable experience and the only stresses we had were picking out all of the colors, carpet, fixtures, etc. Lockridge spent a lot of time helping us plan and giving us suggestions. The workers were very friendly and were nice enough to keep me informed on what was going on whenever I stopped out. We would recommend Lockridge to anyone building a new home. The overall quality and craftsmanship of our home was excellent and if we ever build another house Lockridge will be one of the first companies we will call.

We weren’t sure where to start our house project until one of our clients recommended JWB Architects and Lockridge Design & Build. From the moment we contacted JWB., they were very helpful and guided us through the whole renovation project. They took our ideas and put them into a 3D design that showed us exactly how things would look before we committed to anything. Then Lockridge and his father took over. Once the renovation started, John Sr. managed everything so we didn’t need to worry about anything. It was great not to have to deal with the different contractors, and SR. was very accommodating and was available on a daily basis to discuss the details of the renovation and how it was progressing. Now that the renovation is completed, we are loving the new design and the tons of new space and it feels like we’re living in a new home that’s twice as big. Thank you again John and John SR for all the work and making the renovation project as stress free as possible.
